2023 in the books

I think 2023 was the year I read the most in my life, 34 books in total, all very good (the ones I don’t like I don’t finish), all registered on Lore (an alternative to goodreads, kindly provided and hosted by my Mastodon instance admins).

If I have to recommend something, surely Dino Buzzati’s The Desert of the Tartars is the first that comes to mind, then also Mario Rigoni Stern’s Sergeant in the Snow, McCarthy’s Blood Meridian… but really they were all beautiful trips.
